Sweet Pie!, Part II
You keep clipboards full of crucial observations of how the squirrels are adjusting to their new homes in the trailer. It's been about two weeks since they were captured, and the squirrels are adjusting quite well.
It is a bright and sunny Thursday when a few technicians from the zoo join you to introduce the squirrels to their new homes on the Pie....
You aren't going to introduce all 150 ground squirrels, obviously, so today, you introduce
A) the squirrel families. Mothers and babies need more time to adjust, so they should be introduced first.
B) juvenile squirrels. They're like teenagers, you know, restless, and some fresh air couldn't hurt.
C) the male squirrels. They're the hardiest of the lot, too, so releasing them provides the least amount of risk, as well.
